Summer Bid Information
A bid is simply an invitation to join a fraternity, extended to you by that fraternity. Bids are allowed to be given out by fraternities all summer long.
You can accept a bid at any time during the summer, but this isn't binding until this fall. Once you get back to school you must come and sign an official document with IFC declaring your intent to pledge a certain fraternity.
Summer Signing Day will be held August 21 from 3-7 pm with each chapter's summer bid list due by 11:59 pm on August 20th.
If you do not receive a summer bid you should not worry, it is not a big deal. As you probably know we will be offering a formal recruitment process in the fall.
